LYNN CONFIDENT WITH TEST EFFORTS AT NEW SMYRNA
MOORESVILLE, N.C. (December 17, 2015) –Despite the record temperature setting day for the New Smyrna Beach., Fla area with the heat reaching a blazing 84 degrees, Heather Lynn, climbed behind the wheel of the No.57 Lira Motorsports Pro-Late Model during the test and tune event that co-insided with the teams ARCA Racing Series presented by Menards test.
“Yesterday was a great day, I headed into the testing session clear minded that this would be just another car to drive,” said Heather.
Heather took the morning session as a stepping stone to her runs later in the day. “The car had a great setup under the hood and it handled very well.” She took a total of 123 laps by herself. “Even though it was my first time back out on the track in four years, Michael Lira seemed to be patient with me and getting myself where I needed to be.”
Michael Lira, in charge of Driver Recruitment and Development for the team, was on site to give his knowledge and background as he previously wheeled this same chassis during the 2015 Pro-Late Model Series at the New Smyrna Speedway to four victories.
“I definitely learned a lot yesterday from the whole team. I learned the concept behind running the line you should and where you need to brake on the entrance to the corner, as well as throttling out of the corners. Next year I will be looking forward to improving myself as well as my driving skills. I can’t thank everyone enough for this opportunity and thanks again to everyone at Lira Motorsports.”
