Brandon Lynn Clinches First Career Top Ten
Brandon Lynn, driver of the No. 36 Cribs Creek Outfitters Ford Fusion, turned a lot of heads with his first ARCA Racing Series career top-ten finish this weekend at Fairgrounds Speedway Nashville.
“From the time we started practice yesterday, I knew we were going to have a good car. We were searching for forward drive and we strategized what we needed to do to fix it. Qualifying was awesome. We gave it our all and started in a respectable position.”
Qualifying that high on the leaderboard gave Lynn just the right amount of confidence he needed to get a good finish out of the race.
“The car was perfect in the race. We didn’t make any adjustments to the car during the race, but looking back, I wish we took four tires instead of two. That’s the gamble you take in these races.”
After a decent start to his ARCA racing career last season by receiving two top-15 and one top-20 finishes, he wanted more than decent. He looked toward the 2016 season as one that will not only boost his racing resume, but also one that will boost his confidence. The Music City 200 at Nashville will be one that Lynn will never forget.
“This race was a great turnaround. It’s exactly what we needed to get this year going. I can’t thank the whole team enough for how hard they worked at the shop and at the track. We’re looking forward to going to Salem in two weeks.”
Brandon Lynn and Lira Motorsports would also like to thank the sponsors Cribs Creek Outfitters, MOMO Motorsport, TraqGear, Safecraft Safety Equipment, and NexGenFuel for being a part of the team.
