LLira Motorsports is proud to announce drivers Michael Lira and Logan Misuraca will be returning behind the wheel to race the 56th Annual Prelude to the Governors Cup at New Smyrna Speedway on Saturday, November 13th in the 50 lap Pro Late Model Race. Lira and Misuraca will be racing with team Race Car Solutions, owner Jamie Skinner in victory-proven late models for their return to short-track racing.
Michael Lira, age 24, will be piloting the number 5 Pro Late Model under Race Car Solutions after 4 years of being being out of the seat. In this time, Lira has been a driver coach and spotter for many drivers in multiple series and local levels of racing. Lira also has been running Lira Motorsports Performance, a high performance auto repair shop delivering upgrades, repairs, and modifications to high-end cars in the Port Orange, FL area. His last race was in 2017 for the ARCA Music City 200 at Nashville Fairgrounds Speedway under Lira Motorsports. Lira has been working hard to get back behind the wheel to be competitive for a successful run at this years Governors Cup.
Logan Misuraca, age 22, will be piloting the number 99 Pro Late Model after a little over a year of being out of a Late Model. Misuraca has been staying race ready through her time out of the seat in her work at Daytona International Speedway with NASCAR Racing Experience to give customers a ride of a lifetime as well as giving her more seat time. Misuraca’s last race was the Fortress Water Twin 50s Pro Late Model Race at New Smyrna Speedway in late October of 2020, where she earned Rookie of the Year and finished 2nd in the Pro Late Model Points Standings.
Lira and Misuraca will be continuing to test to be most prepared for next weekend and will have the support of Girem Tile Work, Inc.
